HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Friday September 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for George P. “Pat” O’Rourke, 80, who died Tuesday evening September 4, 2018 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born November 26, 1937 in Warren, a son of George and Jean Kwarciak O’Rourke and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. O’Rourke, a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church served with the United States Army from 1959 to 1963 and was a press operator at General Motors for 29 years. Pat was a fine woodworker, building beautiful furniture for his family. He enjoyed watching his family grow and was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His wife, the former Carol J. Carano, whom he married May 30, 1959, died August 1, 2012. Pat leaves two sons, Tim (Sherry) O’Rourke of Avon and Ken (Michael Anderson) O’Rourke of Cleveland; three daughters, Denise (Frank) Cardon of Canfield, Jennifer (Jeff) Kurz of Liberty and Carolyn (Aleks) O’Rourke of Hubbard; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol and two brothers, Edward “Pinky” and Lawrence “Corky” O’Rourke.

Family and friends may call on Friday September 7, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard, OH 44425. Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
