HUBBARD Barbara J. Simcox Stambaugh was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday morning October 15, 2018 at Liberty Health Care Center. Barbara was born July, 17 1938 in Chester, WV to Frank and Ruby Simcox. Her husband, William, whom she loved dearly, preceded her on March 31, 2010.

Barbara graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1956 and from East Liverpool City Hospital as a RN in 1959. She worked as a nursing Supervisor at UPMC Shenango Campus in Farrell, PA for 27 years, retiring in 2000. Barbara was a loving, caring, Christian mother, grandmother and friend.

She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Lori Rood of Lewisville, TX; Her son William (Angelica) of Hubbard; four grandchildren Alicia (Richard) Whiteley of Roanoke, TX; Alexander of Austintown; Allison and Alana Rood of Lewisville, TX; one great grandchild Kolton; and a sister Carol Dick of Calcutta, Ohio. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and great grandchildren Kaden and Kinley Whiteley. There are no calling hours or funeral services.
