CANFIELD Memorial services will be held on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Canfield Presbyterian Church for Charles R. Allen, 60, who died Wednesday morning September 18, 2018 at Greenbriar Healthcare Center. He was born May 13, 1958 in Youngstown, a son of James R. and Jeanne E. Eyster Allen Sr. and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Allen was a graduate of Canfield High School and was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church.

He was self-employed as the Helicopter Man at Truck World in Hubbard. In the 80’s and 90’s he promoted antique shows at the Canfield Fair Grounds. Charles enjoyed refinishing furniture and RC helicopters.

He leaves a sister, Meg Evans of Hubbard; a brother, James R. (Claudia) Allen Jr. of Canfield; 2 nieces, Cristina Allen and Tanna Angyal and 2 nephews, James Allen III and Evan Evans. Family and friends may call on Tuesday September 25, 2018 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 West Main St., Canfield, OH 44406. Arrangements are being handled by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
