Kenneth R. “K.R.” Craig, 77, of Lake of Egypt, passed away 7:45 a.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. Kenneth retired in 2006 from Valspar Paint Company where he was employed as a Sales Representative. He attended Goreville First Baptist Church.

Together they shared almost 60 years of marriage. Surviving are his wife, Flo Craig of the Lake of Egypt; daughter, Cody Craig and Herbie Hill of Johnston City; son and daughter-in-law, David and Myra Craig of Berea, KY; four grandchildren, Elwyn “B.J.” Collins, Amber (Brian) Lewis, Robert (Becky) Nanney, John (Caitlin) Nanney; three step grandchildren, Jessica (Gus) Yudhistira, Amanda Murrie, Collin Murrie; seven great grandchildren with two great grandchildren due in October 2018; two special children, Raleigh and Blake Kirchoff; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Judy Craig and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Craig; grandson, Adam Craig and his parents.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin with Dr. Ronald Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin.

Memorial donations may be made to Lowe Syndrome Association (LSA), P. O. Box 417, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
