Obituary for Kenneth Ray Wollam Kenneth Ray Wollam, 87, a resident of Riverview Nursing Home in Oak Harbor, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, following an extended illness. He was born August 27, 1931, in Jerome, Ohio, to Ray and Frances (Riggs) Wollam. He was the first-born of three children, his siblings being, Barbara and Shirley.

He graduated from Jerome High School in 1949. He married Carole Lee Sturgeon on July 6, 1951. He served with the Army National Guard for six years at the Armory in Delaware, Ohio.

He worked at the Capitol Loan before entering the insurance business as his career with Brotherhood Mutual, Mutual Security, Century Life and finally CUNA. During his years in insurance, Ken achieved recognition many times in the Million Dollar Round Table, entitling he and Carole Lee to attend conferences nationwide. However, the most important life-changing decision was when he put his faith in Jesus Christ in November of 1960.

He began taking his family to Delaware Bible Church where they were members for more than 25 years. He dearly loved fishing at Brevort Lake in Michigan and Lake Erie. Golfing was another sport he enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Lee Wollam, to whom he was married for 53 years. Left to cherish his memory are: His sister – Shirley (Wollam) Beckner and her husband, Leon His 5 children – Daughter – Vicki (Wollam) Forrider and her husband, Keith – Daughter – Pam (Wollam) Gwin and her husband, Clyde – Daughter – Kristy (Wollam) Schellhaas – Daughter – Debbie (Wollam) Ore and her husband, Don – Son – Stephen Wollam and special friend, Rhiannon Neff His 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren – Andrea (Forrider) & husband, Chandler Atwood (Kadence & Bryton); Ryan Forrider & wife, Julie (McGirr) – Julie Gwin; Jodie (Gwin) & husband, Brian Hutchins (Katelyn, Makayla & Cassidy); Jennifer Gwin, Jonathan Gwin, Janelle Gwin, James Gwin and wife Beth (Rofe), Joanna Gwin – Jamie (Schellhaas) & husband, David Inman (Noah, Samuel, Peter, Gabriel, Levi, Gideon, and Clara); Emily (Schellhaas) Calcagno (Camila, Levi, Eli); Allison (Schellhaas) & husband, Matthew Hammons (Dominic & Anthony Kroninger, Graham, Samuel & Lydia Hammons); Matthew Schellhaas, Benjamin Schellhaas, Catherine Schellhaas – John Ore, Tamra Ore – Cody Wollam, Savannah Wollam.
