Kenneth Richard (Dick) Haas of Lake Wylie, SC died June 23, 2018. He was born June 11, 1921 to the late Dave and Lydia Haas in Okeene Ok. Mr. Haas served in the U.S. 3rd Marine Division during WWII in the South Pacific.

His motto was once a Marine always a Marine. He loved their service for his county. Surviving are his wife Imogene Ritchie Marlowe Haas, son Carl of Santa Clarita, CA, daughter Rita Glenn of Silver City, NM, sister Darlene Brown of San Diego, CA, stepson Michael Marlowe (Kathleen) of Adams Center, NY, step daughter Marsha Estridge (Jay) of Bowling Green, SC, stepson Vince Mazie (Sue) of Matthews, NC, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mabel, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Funeral service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 4820 Charlotte Hwy. , Lake Wylie, SC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Crown Memorial Park, Pineville, NC.
