Ken was born in Paris, Arkansas, son of Sam and Mary Gray. He married Evelyn Hopkins on March 14, 1959 in Albany. He served in the National Guard from 1957 to 1965.

He was a machinist for Teledyne Wah Chang for 42 and a half years starting in 1959 and retiring in 2001. He enjoyed golf, the mountains, hunting, and classic cars. He was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Mary Gray; and sisters, Betty Sarvis and Iva Caves.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; sons, Steve and Rod Gray, both of Albany, Gary Gray of Camas, Washington, and Randy Gray of Cleveland, Tennessee; sisters, Stella Craft of Springfield and Wilma Bender of Jefferson; brother, Tom Gray of Scio; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at Jefferson Abundant Life Center Church. A graveside will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Scio, followed by a potluck reception at The Bridge in Jefferson.
