BARBERTON—Kenneth Wayne Hoover, 71, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 3, 2018. Ken was born in Akron and had been an area resident all his life. He worked at Hamlin Steel Products for 30 years and retired from Varbros Mfg.

after 10 years all in the Tool and Die Industry. He was also a proud Army Veteran. Ken is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maureen (nee McGrady); daughter Anna Hoover; son John Hoover; daughter Suzanne (Jimmy) Pepper and their children Sydney and Nick; daughter Shannon (Tony) Voegeli; and grandchildren Cameron and Claire Monet; and brother Robert (Judy) Hoover.

Graveside Services with Military Honors for Ken will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. , Seville. Procession to form at 8:45 a.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
