Kieran was a financial planner and worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City, Met Life in Cranford and Mass Mutual in Wall Township. He graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre PA in 1985 with a BA in accounting.

He was a member of the Athletic Club at Saint Rose High School in Belmar and was very active in the Run for the Roses Tournament for Saint Catharine’s Grammar School In Spring Lake. Kieran was a parishioner of Saint Catharine’s RC Church in Spring Lake. He was born in South Amboy and lived in West Orange before moving to Manasquan 14 years ago.

Kieran was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Flynn Cantlon. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Nancy Muller Cantlon, his four children, Ryan P. Cantlon of Manasquan, Sean T. Cantlon of Colorado Springs, Emma K. Cantlon of Manasquan and Evan J. Cantlon of Manasquan and his 2 brothers, Thomas and Gerard Cantlon. Kieran is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 5 from 4 to 8 PM at the Reilly Bonner Funeral Home, 801 D Street, Belmar NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Saint Catharine’s RC Church, 215 Es Ave. Spring Lake NJ.
