Age 51, of Wheelersburg, passed away October 7, 2018 in Columbus. She was born February 22, 1967 in Grayson, KY to Denver C. and Nora (Dillow) Floyd. Kim was a 1985 graduate of East High School and attended Shawnee State University.

She then graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and became licensed as a funeral director and embalmer. Kim worked several years in Columbus for Spears Funeral Home and Evans Funeral Home. Due to health issues, she became a medical coder in Columbus.

She enjoyed photography, gardening, flowers, sewing, and her pets. She was an avid Buckeye and Reds fan. She is survived by her mother, Nora Floyd of Wheelersburg; brother, Thomas S. (Christina) Floyd of Wheelersburg; several nieces and nephews, Taylan and Jason Plummer, Erika, Alexis, and Drew Blair, Rachel Horsley; one great-grandnephew, Crue Plummer.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Waldman, Jr. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Zack Conkel officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
