Ms. Hines is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Elizabeth Mae Gamble-Hines; mother of Ms. Keatika G. Hines, Mr. Odori M. Hines, Mr. Willie C. Hines, Jr. (Katrina), Ms. Kourtney “Aniyah” Hines, MS. Kaleyia-Keyonta Hines, and Mrs. Mikki Thomas; sister of Mrs. Edrena Johnson, Mrs. Suzette Hines-Barr, Mrs. Thecly D. Scott (Darrell), and the late Mrs. Clarice Lewis, Mrs. Anya Reed, and Mrs. Doris Thomas Seabrook; and the granddaughter of Mrs. Susan Gamble-Green.
