24, 1949 in Cleveland. Kirk worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs and was a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran. Kirk was the beloved husband of Shirley (nee Chisholm); dear father of Sean; brother of Kent and Keith (Hope); brother in law of David (Joyce) Heuer); uncle and great uncle of many.
