Lane’s Obituary Lane William Twenter, 19, of Stover, died Friday, March 15, 2019, at his home. He was born on October 18, 1999, in Columbia, Missouri, a son of Gerald William and Crystal Diana (Galbriath) Twenter. He was raised on the family farm northwest of Stover, where he worked baling hay, feeding cows, and most recently raising chickens for Tyson.

In 2018, he graduated from Stover High School. While in high school, he was a member of FFA and enjoyed learning how to weld in shop class. He also helped in the turkey barns with Clint Zimmerschied and built custom fencing with Nickolas Dieckman.

Lane enjoyed listening to old country music, and hunting, fishing, farming, mushroom hunting, and just being outdoors. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, even letting Kenleigh paint his fingernails. He also loved Rooster, his dog that went everywhere with him.

And he always said, “Saturday’s for the boys”. He is survived by his parents, Crystal Twenter and Gerald Twenter, both of Stover; two sisters, Laci Wells and her husband Josh and Lexi Metscher and her husband William, all of Stover; his grandparents, Cecelia Twenter and Ronda and Billy Elkins, all of Stover; his nieces, Jaci Wells and Kenleigh Metscher; and his nephews, Tyce Wells and Luke Metscher. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Twenter and William Lee and Glenda Collins, and an uncle, Travis Galbriath.
