Obituary for Lanny Haven Lanny Haven passed away peacefully at Munson Medical Center on July 3, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on September 1, 1955, to Kenneth Haven and Barbara Doris (Smith) Haven. After graduating from high school, Lanny started Windborne Photography Studios in Traverse City, Michigan.

In 1983, Lanny married Cheryl Pieschke (Haven). As their family began to grow, Lanny sold Windborne and began to work for the Traverse City Area Public Schools as a custodian. During his life, Lanny also worked at the Traverse City Christian School, Kingsley Area Schools, Interlochen Center for the Arts, and Munson Medical Center.

Lanny is survived by his loving wife Cheryl and their children, including: son Caleb and daughter-in-law Brooke, son Enoch, son Simeon and daughter-in-law Mary, daughter Hannah and son-in-law Fernando, daughter Lydia and son-in-law Justin, son Micah and daughter-in-law Kalie, daughter Esther, and daughter Ruth. Lanny was also survived by seven grandchildren as well as his brother Eric (Nancy), sister Holly (David), and his beloved dog Sadie Lou. Most importantly, Lanny leaves behind a legacy of Christian faith.

Throughout his battle he always reminded his family of his love and that the best is yet to come. A memorial service will be held at Rollins Christian Fellowship Church (10975 E.
