LaRae Vance Wallace, age 53 of Cerro Gordo, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her residence. Born in Scotland County on April 30, 1965, she was the daughter of the late John C. Wallace,Sr. Along with her Father, LaRae was also preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Jean Wallace, Tammy Melissa Greene, and Charles Wallace.

A service celebrating LaRae’s life will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:30-5:30 (prior to the service). Survivors include her son, Joseph Alan Hayes (Meghan) of East Haven, CT; daughter, Jessica Vance Hayes (Staci) of Whiteville; her mother, Betty Jean Nobles of Evergreen; siblings, Terri W. Fipps (Lynn) of Cerro Gordo, Sandra Wallace of Cerro Gordo, John C. Wallace, Jr. (Tammy) of Clarendon, Jay Wallace (Sabrina) of Chadbourn; three grandchildren, Sophie Hayes, Finley Hayes, and Conor Hayes.

Worthington Funeral Home is serving the Wallace-Hayes Family.
