Larry A. Rizer Sr., age 76 of LaPorte, IN passed away on November 22, 2018 at Symphony of Chesterton. He was born on September 12, 1942 in Valparaiso, IN to Marion and Myrtle Rizer both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his children: Larry A. (Tammy) Rizer Jr. of Chesterton, IN, Joseph (Katie) Rizer of Valparaiso, IN, Cindy (David) Brown of Michigan City, IN, Dawn Rizer of Wexford, PA, Vicki (Tom) Geeze of Chesterton, IN; his eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and by his siblings, Bob (Lori) Rizer of Chesterton, IN and Sue Oakes of Clinton, IN.

He is also preceded in death by his son, Rodney, his brother-in-law, Arkie, his brother, George and his granddaughter, Jennifer Cooper. Larry worked as a truck driver for a steel hauling company for many years. He was also a nature lover.
