Obituary for Larry C. “Rabbit” Rhodes Larry C. “Rabbit” Rhodes, age 75, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. He was a member of Browder Memorial Methodist Church in Sweetwater. He was the owner and operator of the former Rhodes Nursery and Landscaping in Sweetwater.

A veteran of the Vietnam War having served as a medic in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Mary Etta Rhodes Sr., brothers: Rex Rhodes Jr., and Charles Wesley Rhodes, brother-in-law: W.E. Sloan, great-nephew: Tyler Plemons. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Teresa Rhodes, of Charlotte, N.C., Mark and Teresa Rhodes, of Sweetwater, daughter and son-in-law: Mindee and Daniel Albright, of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Tryston, Jaycob, Zaggy, Ben and Ashley.

Several great-grandchildren. Sisters: Janette Sloan, of Sweetwater, Tonya and Ben Walden, of Waynesboro, GA. , Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Dr. Frank Crawford officiating. Interment 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
