Larry Dale Myrick, 58, of Delphos, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was born October 26, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, to Doss and Itasca “Pat” (Turner) Myrick who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Joyce Schosker on October 31, 1987; she survives in Delphos.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy (Belinda) Myrick of Seguin, TX, and Daniel (Faith Deckard) Myrick of Delphos; one daughter, Shandi (Alan) Etzkorn of Spencerville; two brothers, Doss “Georgie” Clifton (Mary) Myrick of San Antonio, TX, and Edward Earl Myrick of Spring Branch, TX; two sisters, Jennie (Roy) Stockton of San Antonio, TX, and Wanda Medlock of Spring Branch, TX; seven grandchildren and father- in- law, John Schosker. He was preceded in death by a brother, Doss William Myrick. Larry was a carpenter in younger years.

He then became a caregiver and professional grandpa. He was a member of The Delphos Fraternal Order of Eagles #471. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.

Most important to Larry was his family, especially his grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home where visitation will be from 12:00 p.m until the service that same day. Burial will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to his grandchildren’s college fund.
