Larry John Joslyn August 30, 1944 – January 09, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Larry John Joslyn, 74, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2019 in Alamogordo NM. He was born on August 30, 1944 in Huron, Michigan to Raymond E. and Elizabeth J. Joslyn He was preceded in death by his father Raymond E. Joslyn, mother Elizabeth Jane Arnott Walker, step father Chuck Walker, sister Melissa Lee Walker, and a daughter Tracy Lee Joslyn. Larry was raised in Smithville, Tennessee and Reseda, California.

He graduated from Reseda High School in1962 and Airline School Pacific majoring in International Communication Teletype. He had a career in Aerospace and Defense for the government as a Supervisor and Tech Instructor in aero structures and aerospace products development. Larry had a wonderful laugh and upbeat personality.

He always had a smile to share and would offer help to anyone in need. He loved aircraft, science, scuba diving, bowling, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife Sharon K. Joslyn of Albuquerque, NM, brother Raymond E. Joslyn of Smithville, Tennessee, daughter Audra Kim Joslyn of Albuquerque, NM, step son Gerald Eslinger Ikhorn of La Quinta, California, and many brother and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

Burial and graveside service will take place at Monte Vista Cemetery Alamogordo NM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 @ 10:00 AM. The Joslyn family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O’Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
