Larry’s Obituary Mr. Larry Wayne Begley, Sr, a Verona resident, passed away at his residence on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the age of 64. He was the husband of Bertha Williams Begley. Mr. Begley was a former machine operator for Zumbiel Packaging in Hebron, KY.

Wayne and his wife are members of the Concord Baptist Church. He had a passion for fishing, loved hunting and the outdoors. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Bige Begley and Devadies Bray Begley, two brothers, Bige Begley, Jr., Bobby Lane Begley and two sisters, Laurie Jane Begley and Jacqlynn Smith.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bertha Williams Begley, one son, Larry W. Begley, Jr. of Verona, KY, one daughter, Ashley Nicole Begley of Kenosha, WI, and six sisters, Bernadine Hoskins of Hyden, KY, Kathleen Pace of Hyden, KY, Wilma Jean Fields of Corbin, KY, Betty Jean Allen of Independence, KY, Tonya Gail Crawford of Louisville, KY, and Lucy Couch of Glencoe, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral will follow at 1pm.

Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
