Obituary of Larry Rosing Larry Ray Rosing, 68, of Burlington, WI, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. He was born April 6, 1950 in Waukegan, IL. He grew up in Ingleside, IL and attended Grant Community High School.

Larry graduated in 1971 from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. In 1974 he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia College of Bible. On June 28, 1975, Larry married Gail E. Bachman in York, PA.

He later earned his Master’s degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 1980. Larry served as a youth pastor in N. Plainfield, NJ, and was involved throughout the years with his home church, Indian Hill Bible Church, in Ingleside, IL. Larry pastored churches in Runnells, IA, Cherry Tree, PA, and Hailey, ID, during the 80’s and 90’s.

Throughout his life Larry used his skills as a drywall finisher on many home and church projects. He later worked for ten years in the pharmaceutical industry and most recently enjoyed working as a motor coach driver. Larry had a wide range of interests.

He earned a private pilot’s license. He loved music and played the trombone and harmonica. Larry was also a careful wood-worker, creating many wood-crafted projects.

He was passionate about tinkering with anything mechanical and had a keen interest in old sewing machines. He could always be relied upon to help his friends and family in any way that he could. Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail Rosing; three children, Rachel (Michael) Ott, Meghan (Eric Solberg) Rosing and Raymond (Franny) Rosing; four grandchildren, Saul Ott, Tayler Ott, Ethan Ott and Breanna Ott; seven brothers and sisters, Linda (Harvey) Dangel, Lee (Sue) Rosing, Laurie (Kerry) Bauman, Lois (John) Reeves, Linnea (Michael) Doyle, Lisa (Steve) Ring and Les (Roxie) Rosing; brothers and sisters in law, Gregory (Marie) Bachman, Jan (Cheryl) Bachman, Sharon Taylor, Neal (Ivelise) Bachman, Wendy Marie (Dave) Del Medico, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jeanne (Buglio) Rosing, and beloved granddaughter, Alice Ott. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 2-5pm at Indian Hill Bible Church, 36133 N. Fairfield Rd. , Ingleside, IL.

Funeral services will take place on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 3:30pm with visitation from 2:30 until service time at the church with Pastor John Rosol officiating. A private family burial will be in Madison, WI. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, 4606 Old Grand Ave.
