Laura Dixon, 95, of Lexington passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her residence. Laura was the daughter of the late Preston and Sophia Witt Eldridge. She was the widow of Paris Dixon.

Surviving is 4 daughters: Linda Nichols, Glenna Gilliam, Phyllis Brookshire, and Debbie Geers; 6 grandchildren: Greg Nichols, Melanie Allen, April Earlym, Cassity Burke, Mandie Stringer, and Brian Brookshire; 10 great grandchildren: Tegan Stringer, Talin Stringer, Laykin Caroline Brookshire, Palmer Kate Brookshire, Ethan Burke, Caleb Burke, Aspen Grace Allen, Parker Elizabeth Nichols, Dylan Early, and Jaxon Early. Laura was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Eva Dixon, Joyce Callahan, Edith Stamper, Floyd Eldridge, Columbus Eldridge, Lily Eldridge, Lottie Huff, and Boyd Eldridge. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Dixon and Merle Caudill officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pearl /Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
