Laura Patricia Nyiro, 25, of Parker, CO, passed away on January 21, 2019. A private visitation for family will be held on Friday, February 1 at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. A brief prayer service for family will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Joy Lutheran Church, 7051 E. Parker Hills Ct, Parker, CO, 80138 followed by a remembrance reception at the Church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for all family, friends, and others whose lives she has touched. Laura was born December 26, 1993 in Pittsburgh, PA to Julius and Margo (Carlson) Nyiro.

She moved to Parker, CO with her parents; twin sister, Julia; and older brother, Matthew; where she attended Pine Grove Elementary School, Sierra Middle School, and Chaparral High School. She loved running and reading and had a sweet and gentle soul that found solace in being around animals, especially her cats, Simon and Garfunkel. Despite her quiet nature, she had a quirky sense of humor that made us laugh.

Her beautiful smile could light up the darkest of rooms but masked a melancholy spirit that struggled to find joy in this life. She will be forever missed. Laura is survived by her parents, Margo and Julius; brother, Matthew; sister, Julia; grandmother, Patricia Nyiro; and aunts and uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
