Laurie Christensen Miller passed away peacefully smiling and holding the hand of her husband on the morning of September 17, 2018. Laurie fought a heroic battle against very aggressive cancer for well over a year. She always maintained an amazing optimism and positivity throughout her trial and her never-ending will to fight will be forever inspirational to all that knew her.

Laurie brought two children to the marriage from a previous marriage; Brant and Brooke Bennion, her and Gary had one child, Preston. She was the beloved ‘Memaw’ to 4 grandchildren; Beau & Delaney Bennion, and London and Grace Taylor which were the center of her world and her absolute favorite thing to talk about and to be with. Her main focus and the of the most joy throughout her life, was her family and particularly her grandchildren.

Any family occasion in her eyes was special, always was decorated with flair, and the next family party was planned before the current one was over! She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother with a contagious smile and a tender heart.
