Leah Ann Shepherd, age 57 of Calhoun died Saturday, January 19 at her residence after a period of illness. She was born, July 6, 1961 in Brandon, Florida, a daughter of Bess Ann Purvis Lynch and the later Oliver Wayne Reeves. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved photography.

She was a member of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church. Leah Ann is survived by her husband, Garry Shepherd, mother, Ann Purvis Reeves Lynch; two sons, Garry V. Shepherd, Jr, and his wife Lola and Dustin R. Shepherd; one daughter, Scarlet Ann Shepherd and her finance’, Shade Moore; two brothers, Brian Reeves and Johnny Reeves; five grandchildren, Kaiman, Kaiden, and Shia Smith, Brennan and Coraline Shepherd. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Leah Ann Shepherd of Calhoun.
