He was born January 19, 1959 in Fulton, Missouri to Frank Richard and Hazel Marcille (Bailey) Buckholz. He was a machinist and ran hydraulics.

He is preceded in death by his father, half-brother Frances Buckholz and Russell Buckholz. He is survived by his mother Hazel Buckholz, brothers Ron Buckholz of Malvern, Jerry Buckholz (Kristi) of Bismarck, Rick Buckholz (Tammy) of Greenfield, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:30 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Malvern with Reverend Phillip Reeves officiating.

Burial at Rockport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Buckholz, Jody Buckholz, Jeremy Buckholz, Josh Buckholz, Garrett Buckholz, and Chase Buckholz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Kaz and Stanley Stone.
