Lena Workman Stewart, age 93, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Stewart was born on July 10, 1925 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Leonard Workman and Susie Furgerson Workman. She worked as a supervisor at Ottenheimer Manufacturing for many years and was a member of Charleston Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ J.C. Stewart; her step-father ~ Erbie Workman; a sister ~ Lois Howard and a brother ~ James Carlton “Buddy” Workman. Visitation for Mrs. Lena Workman Stewart will be Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Charleston Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, KY.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Charleston Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Yates and Rev. Kent Workman officiating.

Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be her grandsons ~ Steve Stewart, Bart Allen, Harlan Gipson, Keith Stewart, Chris Patterson and Bruce Cole. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Stewart and Hunter Gipson.
