Obituary for Lenwood Chestnut Jr. Lenwood Chestnut, Jr., age 45, of the Shell Community, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at his residence. Born June 16, 1973 in Myrtle Beach, he was the son of Lenwood Chestnut, Sr. and Lois King Chestnut. Lenwood was a member of Conway Church of God where he served as a member of the choir and an usher.

He enjoyed camping and was a very dedicated father and husband. He loved being with his family and friends. Along with his parents, Lenwood is survived by his wife, Sherry M. Chestnut; a son, Lenwood Colby Chestnut; a sister, Stacie Anderson (Bryan); paternal grandmother, Elise W. Chestnut; father-in-law, Bennie Moore; brother-in-law, Frankie Moore (Sandy); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Conway Church of God with Rev. Stuart Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Cemetery, located on Highway 472.
