She was a native and longtime resident of Fairfield, CT until she and her husband John, retired to Murrells Inlet in 1993. She was a graduate of Roger Ludlow High School in Fairfield, CT, had a long career in both CT and SC as a bookkeeper working both independently and for firms in various industries including banking, construction and accounting. Betty was very active in her local community and for the past 25 years participated in various roles and on numerous committees.

But most of all Betty was a beloved sister, an awesome mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and dear friend who is already being missed. She will be remembered for her quick smile and way with words. She loved sending cards (Hallmark loved her too!

She was generous of spirit and in deed, easily lending a helping hand and reaching out with a kind note, or a visit with goodies to those who were going through a tough time. We love you Bette, Mom, Grams, G.G. and will miss you beyond words. You are forever in our hearts and an everlasting part of all our lives!
