Leonard Martin Peterson passed away on May 15, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on August 7, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Laverne and Janet Peterson. Leonard grew up in Montana, after high school graduation he married the love of his life, Heidie on June 6, 1982.

They shared a 37-year journey together. His life work has been as a metrologist, originally at Hercules which has changed over the years to become Northrop Grumman. Leonard had a strong passion for snowmobiling and camping.

He cherished spending time with friends. Always having a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Heidie, his mother, Janet, sisters, Lynne, Debbie and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, LaVern. There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
