Obituary for Leslie William “L.W. ” Bruin Leslie William “L.W.” Bruin (84) of Falmouth, KY passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home. Leslie was born in Milford, KY on May 8, 1934, son of the late Shelby and Roseina Mains Bruin. Leslie was a retired lifelong Pendleton County farmer while spending over twenty years traveling to Covington working for Wadsworth electric.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine “Renie” Johnson Bruin and siblings Cora Mae Colvin, Naomi Teegarden Wilson, Robert Bruin, Juanita Bruin and Billy Lucas. Survivors include his children Jo Ann (Larry) Jones, Robert (Linda) Bruin, siblings Ruby Cooper, Shelby Gene Bruin, grandchildren Jodie (Josh) Tackett, Shelbie (Earl) Welte, Loren (Randy) Reynolds, Clay (Lahni) Jones, great grandchildren McKenzie McCoy, Reagan Tackett, Laci Tackett, Hudson Tackett, Brayden Waters, Malia Waters, Mallory Welte, Kinsley Welte, Earl Welte IV, Wilder Jones and Riley Reynolds. Visitation will be held from 10-12:30 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth.
Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Leslie’s final resting place will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Falmouth.
