Lester Dale Butrum, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Medical Center Health in Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Dollar General and a son of the late Cutie Butrum and Frances Louise Carter Russell. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Ann Butrum, Scottsville, KY; 1 son: Jamie Lee Butrum and wife, Alisha, Scottsville, KY; 1 daughter: Rosetta Schum and husband, Nicholas, Lexington, KY; 2 step sons: Chris Berry, Bowling Green, KY and Roger Elder, GA; 5 brothers: Donnie Butrum, Scottsville, KY; Timmy Butrum, Russellville, KY; Danny Cowles, Glasgow, KY; Thomas Butrum, Franklin, KY and Jerry Butrum, Danville, IN; 8 sisters: Clytie Creek and Deltina Blankenship, both of Scottsville, KY; Elizabeth Meador, Glasgow, KY; Cordia Jones, Franklin, KY; Sandra Bowman, Lexington, KY; Brenda Creek, Bowling Green, KY; Mary Jo and Beverly; 4 grandchildren: Zeke Butrum, Ally Butrum, Zayden Butrum and Zoey Butrum; He was preceded in death by 1 son: Justin Dale Ryan Butrum and 3 sisters: Mary Frances Butrum, Mildred Butrum and infant: Wanda Butrum.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Elvis Farley officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
