Lewis Biggs was born on May 15, 1936 in Marengo County, Alabama to the late Lewis Biggs and Luebertha Junior Biggs. He was one of 13 children. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Saint Josephs Baptist Church.

He had a long career as a construction worker/concrete finisher until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memory: Sons – Arthur (Chartina) Biggs and Corey Chambers; Daughters-Debra Biggs, Barbara Biggs, Carol Biggs, and LaKisha Knight; Brother-James Biggs ; Sisters- Mary Collins, Bertha Stubbs, Bessie Persons, Alyce Parker, Mozella (Irwin) Randle, Beola Perry, Hattie (Rev. E.L.) Charleston, Louise Johnson; Grandchildren –Taneka, Arlese, Arte’r, Brian; Great-Grandchildren-Brielle, Bailey, Kendall, Spencer, Kaden, Dorian, Shelby, Briley; and a host of relatives and friends.
