Lewis’ Obituary Glens Falls — Lewis “Moot” Everette Parker Sr., 72, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was born to the late Paul Everette and Helen Deloatch Parker on November 26, 1946, in Conway, NC. Lewis attended Northampton County Public School.

During his life he has driven bus for schools and public transportation, he was a short-order cook and a groundskeeper at Albany Rural Cemetery. He loved to go camping, fishing, cook on the grill and travel. On May 19, 1989, he happily married Geraldine A. Martin of Albany, NY.

In addition to his parents, Lewiswas predeceased by one favorite nephew, Steven R. Parker, and two brothers-in-law, Tony Jenkins and Soloman Parker. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Geraldine Parker of Troy, NY; three daughters, Marcia Parker of Schenectady, NY, Sheikma Parker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Stacey Pompey of Troy, NY; two sons, Lewis E. Parker Jr. of Schenectady, NY and Michael Parker of Virginia Beach, VA; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Parker of Norfolk, VA, Emma Eaton of Chesapeake, VA, Sarah Parker of Norfolk, VA, and Kathlyne Jenkins of Chesapeake, VA; one brother, Roger Parker of Norfolk, VA; his mother-in-law, Rhoda Corbett of Glens Falls, NY; also several nieces, nephews-in-law, and several friends, who will always remember him. Also, his pet, Izzy Cash.
