Obituary of Liam Ireland Liam Z. Ireland was born September 22, 2000 in Paterson, New Jersey and died Wednesday October 18, 2018 at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ, the result of a life spent fighting extreme prematurity and intrauterine drug exposure. He was every character rolled into one amazing gift. He was Rocky Balboa while trying to avoid a treatment.

He was Mario Andretti while driving his wheelchair, he was every Atlantic Electric generator when he flashed his smile as he entered a room and every Grammy award winning singer as he nailed a tune on the radio. He is survived by his two moms, Margaret Ireland and Mary Geary, sister Haley, brothers Sean, Dylan, Daniel and Ethan all of Egg Harbor Township, brother Jon Wilson of Wildwood, NJ, sisters Anita Garner and family of Galloway Township, NJ, Jaimee Moore and family of Egg Harbor City, NJ and Kristyna Weller and family of Las Vegas, NV and family. He was predeceased by his brother Michael (Santos) Ireland.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:30am in Zion Cemetery, 652 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South Jersey Field of Dreams 226 Morton Avenue Absecon, NJ 08201 Remember Father Flanagan: “A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child”.
