Obituary for Lila Campbell Cox Lila Campbell Cox, 90, widow of Carl Cox passed away July 29, 2018. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Alexander Houston Campbell and Evie Mae Lister Campbell, she was a homemaker and member of Morningstar Independent Baptist Church. She was the 7th child of ten children.

She was a devoted Christian lady to everyone she met. Surviving are one son, Larry Cox (Marilyn) of Travelers Rest; one daughter, Annette Pack (John) of Landrum; one brother, Carroll Campbell of Greer; one sister, Veldon Slatton of Inman; one brother-in-law, Raymond Cox of Travelers Rest; three grandchildren, Kimberly Cox Bennefield of Travelers Rest, Brad Pack of Landrum and Johnny Pack of Anderson; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev.

David Ellenburg and Rev. Jim Howard. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Crescent Hospice, 209 Riverside Court, Suite A, Greer, SC 29650 or Miracle Hill Children’s Home, 490 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
