Obituary for Lila M. Dayton Lila M. (Hansen) Dayton, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Bethany Pines in Waupaca, WI. She was born February 12, 1936 in the Town of Farmington, WI; daughter of Louis B. and Cora (Floistad) Olson. Lila worked for many years in the housekeeping department at Bethany Home in Waupaca.

On July 26, 1996, she married Donald M. Dayton in Waupaca and together they shared 13 years of marriage before his passing on March 1, 2010. Lila will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends. Lila is survived by her nine children, Ken (Cindy) Hansen of Pine River, WI, Curt (Joni) Hansen of Waupaca, WI, Connie (Richard) Wagner of Waupaca, WI, Kim (Beth) Hansen of Mequon, WI, Kayla (Steven) Murray of Waupaca, WI, Kari (Dave) Brockman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Casey (Kim) Hansen of Fort Smith, AR, Cathy (Jim) Sales of Waupaca, WI, and Sandi (Phillip) Nguyen of Fayetteville, AR; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald (Delores) Olson of Tomahawk, WI.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Cora Olson; her husband, Donald Dayton; a son, Kelly Hansen; an infant daughter, Karen Hansen; a brother, Clayton Olson; and a sister, Myrtle Lane. A Celebration of Lila’s Life will be held later this spring.
