Lila Teeter passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019. She had been residing in Ionia, MI. Lila was born June 10th, 1933 in Thayer, MO to Arthur and Marie Komm.

They later moved to Michigan, when Lila was 3 years old. She married William Teeter on June 12, 1953 and resided with him in Manitou Beach, MI; until after his passing April 25, 1994. She is survived by 4 children: Denis (Karen) Teeter of Fenwick, MI, Donald (Yolanda) Teeter of Natalia, TX, Drew (Jennifer) Teeter of Wickliffe, OH, and Londa (David) Boerema of Hastings, MI.

She is also survived by her sister Irene Smith of Oceanside, CA Lila was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Michael (Julia) Teeter, Keturah (John) Bostrom, Lindsay Teeter, Donovan (Brenda) Teeter, Sadie Boerema, and Dana Boerema, step grandchildren: Monica (Rene) and Yvonne (Travis). She also had 5 great grandchildren: Jared Baxter, Elizabeth Baxter, Brett Bostrom, Arya Bostrom, and Tawney Teeter, step great grandchildren: Danielle, Christopher, Brooklyn and Kenedy. There will be a memorial service Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 915 Industrial Park Drive, Greenville, MI 48838.
