Obituary for Lillian Mae Jackson Jackson, Lillian M. of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Francis Nursing Home. She was 100 years old. Lillian M. Bradford was born April 13, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan the oldest of three children born to the late Ralph M. and Anna M. (Trayer) Bradford.

She married Franklin J. Jackson, Jr.; he preceded her in death on January 23, 1983. Lillian was a faithful member of Kochville United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church in New Port Richey, Florida. Lillian played the violin, organ and piano and she played in the Saginaw Civic Orchestra.

She and Franklin moved to Au Gres where they owned and operated Jackson’s Variety Store and then retired to New Port Richey. Lillian’s passion was music, but she enjoyed reading as well. She will forever be remembered for her lively yet enthusiastic personality as well as for the role of matriarch of her family following the death of Franklin.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law: Donald R. Jackson of Saginaw, Paul F. Jackson of Alto and Judy A. Jackson of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, David R. Jackson; a sister Ruth Sharp; and a brother, Bruce Bradford.

FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Kochville United Methodist Church, 6030 Bay Rd. , Rev. Bradley T. Terhune will officiate.

Burial will follow the luncheon at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Kochville United Methodist Church.
