Obituary for Lillian May “Lill” Merico (Berke) Merico, Lillian May NOTE: CHANGE OF SERVICE INFO Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2018 with family surrounding her. Lillian was born in 1942 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and has been a long time resident of Excelsior Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her parents Marie Patricia Berke and James Berke.

She is survived by her long standing relationship James Love, and sons Barry Thomas Wilson (Catherine Elizabeth Zehner) and William W. Wilson, as well as Granddaughter Hannah Marie Wilson. Also survived by her brothers Jimmy Lee Berke, Michael Berke, and Richard Berke. “Lill” shared her life with “Jimmy” whom she met 25 years ago on a ski trip to Thunder Bay.

Lill and Jimmy had frequented many a golf course and ski hill together over the years. Lill also enjoyed playing Tennis and watching sports on T.V. She cherished spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Ella.

Lill will be greatly missed. Memorial service Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 at 3 PM at the Southshore Community Center, 5735 Country Club Road, Shorewood (952-474-7635).

Visitation will take place for 1 hour prior to service. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
