BOPP – Lillian R., “Lil,” 94, formerly of South Fork, died February 8, 2019, at the home of her daughter, Mary Jane Helman, Richland. Born August 1, 1924, in Ehrenfeld. Preceded in death by parents, Frederick Sr. and Jennie (Cameron) Wishneski; beloved husband, Herman C. Bopp; siblings, Betty (Robert) Connors, Fred Jr., Robert, Carl, Martha (James) Kline, Raymond, Gerald Grant, Margaret Ann and Maureen; sister-in-law, Rose (Clifford) Gage; brother-in-law, Alfred (Ann) Bopp; son-in-law, Ron Helman; great-granddaughter, Kyria (Livingston) Hamara; special nephews, “Jack” Bassett and Edward Bopp; and dear friend, Martha Brummert.

Survived by children, Mary Jane Helman; Donna (Bill Jr.) Sawarynski; Deborah (Jay) Neff; and Kimberly Mayes; brother, Richard (Francis) Wishneski; sisters-in-law, Sandi (Frank) Puskoski and Clara Peterson; grandchildren, William III (Tiffany) Sawarynski; Philip (Molly) Sawarynski; Heather (Robert) Wetzel; Christopher Neff; Jessie Mayes and Daniel Mayes Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jordan (Kristopher) Green, Codith (Jessica) Livingston; William IV, Michael, Andrew, Charlotte and Nora Sawarynski; and Amelia Wetzel; great-great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Sienna Hamara; Korben and Kade Green; Trenton Livingston and Sophie Louer; special nieces, Joann Bassett and Rosemary (Bob) Shoff; and special family and friends, Frank and Missy Wisen; Sally Schmidt; and Leo Bopp. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, South Fork. Former treasurer of St. Anthony’s Altar and Rosary Society, vice president of the Women’s Democrat Club and a tireless volunteer for the American Heart Association.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother who gave generously and loved unconditionally. She was a loyal friend to many and lived a quiet and humble Christian life. She enjoyed sewing, canning and gardening, but her greatest joy was her family and grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where a vigil will be held Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Father Joseph C. Nale Celebrant. Committal, St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, New Germany.
