Lillian was united in marriage to Walter F. Wiktor on September 22, 1945; they spent 50 loving years together as husband and wife until his death in 1996. She was a wonderful cook and made many traditional Polish dishes she learned from her mother. Lillian kept her mind sharp by completing a crossword each day and reading the newspaper.

She liked to stay active by walking and exercising with her neighbor Catherine Muldoon. She enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful roses and flowers. Lillian loved spending time with her sisters-in-law; whether it was marathon shopping with Marie Wiktor, luncheons with Helen Surowiec, or Greenfield Village craft classes with Irene Swiech, they always had a great time.

She played in a bunco club with ladies in her Detroit Warrendale neighborhood for 20 years. For many years, Lillian went to the movies every Friday night with her daughters. She truly loved life and cherished all the memories she made with her family and friends.

Lillian is survived by her loving children, Carol Wiktor, Judith Wiktor, and Kenneth Wiktor; her nieces and nephews, Randy, Pam, Laurie, Bernadine, Stan, Larry, Mary, John, Bill, and Anne; and many great nieces and great nephews. Also loved by Barry Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother Edward “Ben” Swiech.
