On Friday, September 14, 2018, Lillie Mae Mills departed this life and gained her heavenly wings. Lillie was a graduate of Austin High School, Class of 1952. She retired from Goody’s Warehouse after many years of dedicated service.

Preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Mills, Sr. and children, Mary Brown, Oliver, Sr. and Calvin Mills. Left to cherish her memory: children, Sherry Smith, Wilton (Zandra) Mills, Sr., Alma Jean Dozier, Alvin Mills, Sr.; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Wednesday, September 19, 2018, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a homegoing service to follow at New Friendship Baptist Church.

Reverend Dr. Joseph B. Smith officiating. Interment to follow at New Gray Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service. Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service.
