Linda D. Flaugh, 70, of Rock Island, Ill. passed away Friday February 22, 2019 at UnityPoint Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave.

, Rock Island. Inurnment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or American Cancer Society. Linda was born April 27, 1948 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Lawrence and Leora Kraft Congdon. She graduated from Keokuk High School.

She married Michael Flaugh on Dec. 19, 1981 in Moline, Ill. Linda was employed for 21 years with Norcross Safety Products, Rock Island.

She also worked for the Rock Island/Milan School District for many years. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, and loved spending time with family and friends.

Linda was an avid bowler, bowling in area leagues. She enjoyed dinners with her Tuesday and Sunday night league friends. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and NASCAR fan.

Surviving are her husband, Michael, of Rock Island; daughters, Teri (Marc) Roberge and Linda S. Flaugh (Joe Dillard), all of Rock Island; granddaughters, Shelby Roberge (fiancée, David Barnett) and Samantha Roberge (Leno Lopez); aunt, Doris Congdon, Burlington, Iowa; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Bill Hoffman, Rock Island; cousins, Jim (Debby) Braet, Rock Island and Jeff (Cindy) Braet, Rock Island; many additional cousins, nieces, nephews and other family; and special friends, Margaret (Al) Melody, Big Island, Gary (Carolyn) Massie, Coal Valley, Linda Rossie, Virginia and Frances Schriner, Rock Island. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
