Linda “Red” J. Hadley, 73, became an angel after passing unexpectedly on Dec. 22, 2018. She was born Sept.

7, 1945 to the late Lester and Thelma Spafford. Linda loved gardening but hated the weeds. She enjoyed collecting, especially coco-cola memorabilia, coffee mugs.

She was very generous, always giving to others even if it meant going without for herself. She would never so no to anyone who asked. Linda could be found camping in Maine with her sister Nancy and many friends, going to thrift stores, yard sales and eating clam chowder and whole belly clams.

She loved going to the beach and spent many hours at Nubble Light, York, ME enjoying the surf and salt air. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda met many challenges in life with strength, bravery and determination believing that you should just put “one foot in front of the other”.

Linda was an inspiration to all. She was predeceased by her husband George Hadley. She will dearly be missed by her family, friends and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves her three sons; George of Ware, Todd of W. Spfld, and Aaron of Southbridge, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her sister Nancy Leahey of W. Spfld, her niece Katie (David) Trottier and nephew Jason Leahey and his daughter Rachel Leahey. Calling Hours will be held FRIDAY from 9 to 11 AM followed by an 11 AM Memorial Service at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST. , W. SPFLD.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
