Linda Kathryn Whittington, age 70, of Oakland, formerly of Cheraw, SC, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 16, 2018. Linda was born August 13, 1947, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of John Dye and Dorothy and Bob Durham. She married Reid H. Whittington, he preceded her in death.

Linda worked in home healthcare, was a member of the Baptist Church, and enjoyed art. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons: Brandon R. She is survived by one son: Ruben (Leann) Royer of Oakland, IL; and four grandchildren: Emily Royer, Becca Royer, and Brandon Royer, of Oakland, IL, and Kennedy Whittington of Myrtle Beach, SC.
