Linda Kay (Vera) Negoski, 59, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at her home. Linda was born in Aurora, Illinois on January 27, 1959. She worked as a teacher for many years in Ohio, Illinois, Iowa and Indiana.

Linda was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed going to NASCAR races with her husband, John and was an avid reader. She had a contagious laugh and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband of 41… Read More » years, John Negoski of Evansville, IN; her daughters, Meloni Esser (Bill) of Hastings, NE and Nicole McIntosh (Steven) of Evansville, IN; brothers, Bob Vera and Danny Vera both of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Esser, Jonathan Remley, Andrew Cross as well as foster sister, Marsha Horwath of Las Vegas, NV.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Margie (Paul) and Bill Horwath and a brother, Francisco Vera, Jr. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 with Chaplain Randy Bechtel officiating. Friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until service time on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home.
