OBITUARY Carolyn Jobe November 21, 1949 – November 29, 2018 Carolyn Gail Jobe, 69, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. Carolyn was born in Memphis, TN to Lora Dee Harralson on November 21, 1949. She was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1967.

She worked as a Daycare provider for 19 years. She was a member at 12th Avenue General Baptist church/Westwood Baptist for many years and taught Bible School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid novel reader, and enjoyed working puzzles of all types.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; Virgil and Lora Dee Benton; brother, Larry Benton; sister, Norma Stanley. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Heather (Jason) Feldbusch; son Matthew (Heather) Jobe; siblings, Geneva, Charles, Letta, Duane, Dale, Louise, Louis, Dena, and Donna; grandchildren, Aiden and Parker Feldbusch and Everly Jobe; step-grandchildren, Shane and Taylor Kirchoff, as well as 24 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel.

Friends may visit Saturday 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family of Carolyn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heritage Hospice and Parkview Care Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice.
