Linda’s Obituary Linda S. Magnusson, age 55, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home near Jensen Lake following a long illness. She was born June 20, 1963 in Pontiac the daughter of George and Helen (Sevon) Hall. Linda moved to Reed City as a child and graduated from High School.

She also attended Ferris State University for a time. Linda married Bob Magnusson on June 26, 1981 and they resided within Mecosta and Osceola counties. Linda was an involved mother; she supported her children in all of their activities and sports.

You always knew where you stood with Linda. She is survived by her husband, Bob; two children, Kim (Brian) Baker of Big Rapids, Steve (Brittany) Magnusson of Reed City; six grandchildren, Brian, Cameren, Trevor, Elijah, Brendan and Myleigh; two sisters, Deborah (Dave) Klein of Union Lake, Carol (Paul) Klein of Clarkston; a brother, Timothy Hall of Big Rapids; her mother-in-law, Gloria Lucha of Morley; many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Cathi Hall and a brother Ted Hall.

Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be this spring at the Chase Township Cemetery.
