Linda Vanzant Ricks Childersburg, AL – Funeral service for Linda Vanzant Ricks, 73, will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Meadors officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery in Fayetteville, AL.

Mrs. Ricks died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olie & Ruth Vanzant, and granddaughter, Erin Jones. Mother loved her family, and worked tirelessly to ensure we were all cared for over the years.

She loved her home, her family, and friends. We will miss you every moment of our lives. Your presence will always surround us.

You will always live in the hearts and minds of the loving family you left behind. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Arnold Ricks; son, Russell (Shannon) Ricks; daughter, Jena Jones; son, Andy Ricks; son, Tim (Tina) Ricks; four grandchildren, Olivia Ricks, Jarrett Ricks, Alexandra Ricks, and Asa Ricks; three sisters, Virginia Hosey, Annette McGrady, and Deborah Haisten. Visitation will be Friday November 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Childersburg, AL.
